With Employee Appreciation Day around the corner, here's to a very special and long-serving member of the Martin and Robson team: Wilma Rabe.
It was with very mixed feelings that we bid farewell to Wilma last month as she embarked on her well-deserved retirement after first joining us in 1995.
Wilma has made a huge impact on Martin and Robson and has played a key role in creating our “ready to make a plan” service culture, which has been integral to building and maintaining the many long-standing customer partnerships that we have today.
Having been with us since the mid-90s, Wilma has seen M&R transform into a global business. Here’s what Sturrock and Robson Group CEO, Dennis Mech, had to say to her:
“With your retirement, we close another chapter in the long and proud history of Martin and Robson. I want you to look back with pride and satisfaction at your contribution to the growth and success of M&R and also to the Group.
Just look where M&R is now; a global operation selling high-quality product worldwide. You were an integral and valuable member of the team that achieved all of this.
We thank you for your long service, dedication to serving our customers and loyalty to both M&R and the Group.
Go well and good luck. We will miss you but will remember you fondly.”
Wilma, you have left your mark on Martin and Robson, and we’ll continue to serve our customers just as you’ve taught us!
