Greg Gillian

Group Managing Director

His focus will be the partners across M&R as well as executive leadership of the M&R team. Greg reports the management team at the parent company, and will work closely with Renee Harold and Otto Van Griethuyen, as well as the past MD Jacques Nel.

Renee Harrold

Group CFO

Renee holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance) from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia and an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from Valar Institute. She is also a member of CPA Australia. Based in the U.S. office, Renee plays a key role in supporting Martin and Robson’s global business operations.

Prior to joining Martin and Robson, Renee held senior finance roles at Perenti Group, Australian Contract Mining, Mineral Resources, and Henry Walker Eltin. Her expertise spans underground, open cut, and process engineering operations across a variety of commodities.

Otto Van Griethuysen

Global Supply Chain Manager

Otto has 15 years experience in the freight and logistics industry specialising in bulk movements of mining and agricultural products over multiple corridors ranging from the SADEC region to China, South America and Australia.

This paired with his strategic experience in all aspects of business pertaining to areas such as procurement, strategic growth and all commercial operations, puts him in an ideal position to ensure we find the best logistical solutions for you, even if it means thinking outside the box.

Ameet Roy

Finance Manager

Ameet joined our team in April 2019 and has over 15 years of financial experience in the Global Business industry in Mauritius.

He has a strong finance background and has held management positions in Management companies and within the Oil and Gas industry.

A Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Ameet has developed specific expertise in areas such as financial management, corporate governance, cross-border investment and transfer pricing.

Dewald Potgieter

Managing Director, South Africa

As Martin and Robson’s general manager, Dewald oversees our South African operations, ensuring that every customer receives top-quality product and service.

Dewald is a professional engineer and certified project management professional with 20 years’ experience within general, project, and engineering management.

He has had extensive exposure to the rail and mining industries and holds a master’s degree in engineering management and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Solomon Fakude

Operations Manager

Having worked through the ranks from apprentice fitter, Mechanical Technician, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Production Manager, and now Operations Manager, Solomon knows the ins and outs of a working site.

Solomon joined us in 2012, and is instrumental in keeping our South African site running, and are people motivated.

Hannelie Albrecht

Management Accountant

A key part of our team since 2009, Hannelie keeps the financial operations of our South African business running neatly and smoothly.

Lize Van Rooyen

Debtors Supervisor

Lize has been with Martin and Robson since 2009. Her focus is financial administration, specifically invoicing, collections and statements. She also works with our logistics team on magnetite export tracking and administration.

Bridgette Maketa

Sales & Logistics Coordinator

Bridgette has 14 years’ experience in international freight forwarding, clearance and Logistics and holds a bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics.

Her role is to plan timeous deliveries as well as ensuring that customers’ expectations are always met if not exceeded.

Imraan Fulat

Financial Manager

Imraan is a Chartered Accountant with vast experience in the audit industry. He has gained exposure to various entities in the public and private sector.

He has been with the Sturrock and Robson Group since 2022, contributing value in various capacities.

In 2024, he took on a new challenge having been appointed as Financial Manager in the M&R Team.

This role has allowed him to further support the company’s objectives and growth prospects.

He brings skills around financial planning and analysis, reporting, internal controls, and compliance to continue to drive stability and growth.

Sharelle Ellen

Managing Director, Australia

Sharelle joined our team in January 2016 and has over 20 years of financial and operational experience in the resources sector in Australia.

She has a strong Commercial background and has held senior management positions with both Coal Owner and Contractor companies.

Sharelle specialises in thinking outside the box to ensure our customers maximise their supply chain value. She understands that every customer’s needs are individual and will tailor our solutions to your particular requirements.

Veronica Swan

Office Manager

Veronica joined us in 2016 bringing with her over 15 years’ experience in the Mining Sector. She is a skilled Office Manager with experience across finance and administrative roles, and a great multi-tasker.

Veronica makes sure our customer service, management and administrative operations run smoothly. We can always count on her to bring ease and positivity to the office, with her calm and professional style.
